Happened to read a shocking piece of news in the newspaper about a residential fire hazard that occurred barely 6 km away from our Kottayam office. When we visited the property, the sight was heartbreaking. The house owner had already cleared most of the debris, but the damage was unimaginable—every part of the interior was destroyed. Furniture, air conditioners, even ceiling fans were melted beyond recognition.
